Some creatures we saw
Creatures we saw
this is called the mangrove moth. The larvae is known to feed on figs.

this creature is called the red berry snail. It is usually found near the mangrove ares, in groups on the surface of mud of even at the back of the mangrove trees. they eat algae on the mud.

these are giant mud skippers which we saw that day. These large amusing fishes are lords of the mudflats at low tide. They eat almost anything including other mudskippers!

this is the tree climbing crab. they are really small, and has agile movements.
It lives in holes found on the ground and has a strong sense of defense. they are not dangerous and would not attack when it feels safe and is not provoked to any danger.

this is a picture of the mangroves which we saw that day. they have roots that stick out of the ground, that allows them to breathe through the roots, to obtain oxygen, for respiration. it is the Avicennia

this is a map of the pasir ris mangrove swamp. we stopped by to take a quick snap of the picture.
